Do we place our orders through DPS?
No, you will order directly with the DPS approved vendor.
How do I know that I am receiving the DPS contracted price from a vendor?
The Contract Compliance Department of DPS will conduct audits to ensure that you are receiving the correct pricing.
Is there a membership fee to join?
No, DPS allows your company to benefit from larger volume pricing regardless of the size of the Organization.
Can I exclusively participate in the Dietary program or am I required to participate in all programs?
Our program is offered “a la carte” so you decide which vendor contracts, programs and services you want to utilize. Our goal is provide you with the MOST competitive vendor contracts in the industry.
What type of information do you need to conduct a comparison between my current GPO and DPS?
We usually request from your current supplier a Quarterly Dollar Descending Report which will show what your top purchases are within a specified time frame. This information enables us to provide you with the most accurate and concise cost comparison.
Can I belong to more than one Group Purchasing Organization?
Yes, as a matter of fact, we co-exist nicely with another GPO.
